12月初剛落幕的聯合國氣候大會曾公布：今年前10個月地表與海洋平均溫度刷新1880年以來紀錄（record high），藉以敦促各國採取行動。2014年可能是134年來最熱的一年，伴隨而來的現象是缺水之苦，台灣政府日前發出警訊，美國加州則已深受其擾超過3年了。
